We are Shane and Heather Harstine the founders of Vacation By The Mouse L.L.C. 

We currently manage or own 50 vacation homes in the Disney area, all are featured on this site. We created this page to give our guests peace of mind, knowing who they are renting their vacation home from. 

Both of us love the Disney area, and October of 2001 we decided to purchase our first vacation home. Since then, we have added several more properties. 
 

1. Value: The ability to rent  luxury homes so close to Disney at hotel rates. 

2. Customer service: We make a point to make every guest feel like family. We walk you through the reservation process, communicate with you before departure, and most importantly we call you at the vacation home the first or second night of arrival just to make sure your vacation stay is top notch. We will also give you our cell phone number in case you need immediate attention. 

3. The ability to keep tabs on our property: With our guests feedback, and with us living in the United States, (compared to most of the vacation home owners who live in Europe) we are able to make sure our homes stay in superior condition. We do have a very good management company who watches our homes, but if something comes up that requires immediate attention, we are just a phone call away. 

4. Word of mouth. After families vacation with us, they go back home and tell friends and family about their positive experience with Vacation By The Mouse.
